Echo Harbor

Echo Harbor: General Delivery

Support

Echo Harbor is a quiet story game about mail and a lonely space harbor. If something isn’t working, or you just have a question, we’re glad to help. Write to support@echoharbor.fun.

About the game

You are a relief courier sent to Echo Harbor, a space harbor that has been cut off for twelve years. The mail has piled up. Each delivery is a small route puzzle, and each one changes something in the harbor: a door plate, a mailbox flag, an address on the former-residents board.

  • For iPhone, iOS 18 or later, played in portrait.
  • Plays entirely offline. No account, no internet connection needed.
  • Part One tells the story from the prologue through the end of chapter 2, about 40 to 60 minutes. After that, the harbor keeps giving you everyday deliveries.
  • There are no timers and no way to fail.

How to play

  1. Draw the whole route first. Drag from the mail cart across the grid, one cell at a time. Drag back to erase part of it, or tap a cell farther away and the route joins up to it. Undo takes back a step. Hold Undo to clear the whole route; Restore brings it back.
  2. Pass a door to deliver. When your route passes the right door, the letter is delivered. The cart doesn’t need to stop.
  3. Mind the charge. Each step, and each beat spent waiting, uses one bar of charge. Save enough, and the cart drives back by itself: the dashed line is that drive home.
  4. Residents are home only at certain hours. The home bar under a door shows the day, and its filled part is when someone’s home. Hold a door to look closer. Deliver to the early closers first and leave the late openers for later. If your route gets to a door early, tap Wait a beat to wait at the end of the route, or hold the door and tap +⧗ to wait there.
  5. The mailbag holds only so much. From chapter 2 on, your mailbag has three slots you can use. If it won’t all fit, draw back to where you set out and load another trip.
  6. Tap Go and watch. The cart follows your route. Next stop and Walk it all move it along. Anything that couldn’t be delivered simply comes back with it.
  7. Redraw as often as you like. Tap Draw again and try another way. Nothing is lost, and nothing goes wrong as a penalty.

Stuck? Tap the lightbulb on the board for a hint. Each tap tells you a little more, and in the end it draws a route that works. The ? button opens How to play: this board’s goal, the rules, and a legend of every mark on the board. Hints are always free.

Questions

Do I need an internet connection?

No. The game never goes online.

Is there anything to buy?

Part One is free, with no ads. This version has no in-app purchases.

How does saving work?

The game saves by itself after every step. You can close it at any moment and pick up exactly where you left off with Continue.

In the middle of a delivery, Put down takes you back to the harbor. Everything stays as it is.

How do I start the story over?

Open Settings and choose Delete all local data. This deletes your harbor, your courier ID and your settings, and can’t be undone.

Will my progress move to a new iPhone?

Your progress lives only on this device. There is no cloud sync, so it does not move to another device by itself. Restoring your device from an iCloud or computer backup may bring it back. Deleting the app deletes your progress.

How do I change the language?

The game is available in English and Simplified Chinese, and follows your iPhone’s language. To choose a language just for this game, open the Settings app, tap Echo Harbor, then Language. This option appears when your iPhone has more than one preferred language.

Will there be more chapters?

Yes, more chapters are planned. They’ll arrive as updates to this same app.

What data does the game collect?

None. See our Privacy Policy.

Accessibility

  • VoiceOver: you can draw a route by tapping. Activate a cell next to where the cart sets out, then one cell after another. VoiceOver reads out positions, times and what each door expects. VoiceOver support is still being tested on device.
  • Plays muted: every sound also shows on screen, so nothing needs to be heard. Signals such as the knock’s “· · —” rhythm are always drawn too, and color is never the only clue.
  • Motion: turn on Reduce Motion in the game’s Settings. The game also follows your iPhone’s Reduce Motion setting.
  • Sound effects, Music and Haptics can each be turned off in Settings.
  • Left-handed mode moves the route buttons to the other side of the screen.
  • Walking speed: while the cart is walking, the tortoise and the hare on the board switch between walking slowly and walking fast.
  • Always show results on doors: on later boards, doors only mark where your route passes while you plan, and you see what gets delivered after you tap Go or ask for a hint. Turn this on, in Settings or at the end of How to play, and every door on your route shows right away whether its item gets there (✓) or what’s in the way.
  • Text size: we are still improving how the game looks at the largest text sizes. If anything is cut off, please tell us which screen.
